Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a hospital-based Physical Therapy department.

Details

• 281-bed hospital setting within the Physical Therapy department
• Team includes 11 PTs, 2 PTAs, and 2 PRN office coordinators
• Day shift schedule for all staff
• Patient ratio of 8-10 patients per 8-hour shift, with assignments of 10-13
• Equipment used includes walkers, crutches, braces, and wheelchairs
• Documentation completed in Meditech
• On-call requirement with check-in by 7:00 AM
• Shift hours from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• BLS certification required
• Florida PT license required if applicable
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to Meditech documentation system
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months

• Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment, gait training, therapeutic exercises, and therapeutic activities
• Highly cohesive, engaged, and positive team culture
• Gray scrub color required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
