Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for an OB/GYN clinic NST role with no call or weekend requirements, requiring a CO or compact RN license.
Details
- OB/GYN clinic setting focused on NST monitoring within a Labor and Delivery unit
- Day shift, 4x9 hour schedule, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 0745-1715
- No weekend requirement
- No on-call responsibilities
- 1:2 patient ratio
- Expected to complete at least 25 NSTs daily between two RNs
- Floating within scope based on clinic needs
- Uses Epic for charting
- Navy scrubs required
Requirements
- Active RN license (CO or Compact) required
- BLS certification required
- C-EFM certification preferred
- AWHONN Beginner and Intermediate certifications preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an L&D RN required
- Experience with external fetal heart monitoring (EFM) required
- Epic charting experience required
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Experience with high-risk OB, vaginal bleeding, placenta abruptio/previa, and pregnancy-induced hypertension preferred
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include performing NSTs, obtaining vital signs, pulse oximetry, and scheduling appointments
- Providers from multiple practices available on-site and via Epic secure chat for support
- First-time travelers accepted if experienced in L&D with C-EFM and NST familiarity
- Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract, with blackout periods during peak census times
- No blocked scheduling requests permitted
- Local candidates accepted
