Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring CO or compact RN licensure and multiple specialty certifications.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• 12-hour day shifts from 0700-1930
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• 36 hours per week over 3 days
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO Single State or Compact) required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department specialty required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (AHA) required and must not expire prior to start
• TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS certifications required
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the ED
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment to patients
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
