Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CO or compact RN license and multiple specialty certifications.

Details

• Hospital-based Emergency Department setting
• Schedule of 3x12-hour night shifts per week, 1900-0730
• Rotating weekend requirement
• Uses Epic for charting
• May float to other departments based on business need within scope of competency
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO Single State or Compact) required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS (all AHA, not expiring prior to start)
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, including health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible
