Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring MD or compact RN licensure and proficiency across LDRP care.

Details

Work in an LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) unit rotating through Labor, Triage, and Mother-Baby postpartum care
Postpartum nurses typically care for 3-4 couplets while Labor assignments are 1-2 patients
Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours from 18:30 to 07:00
On-call responsibilities average 16-20 hours within a 6-week schedule, with an option to pick up extra shifts instead
Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) required
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
Required certifications: NRP, AWHONN, and FHM
OB surgical recovery (C-section) experience highly preferred
Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

Provide comprehensive care across Labor, Triage, and Mother-Baby postpartum roles as staff rotate through all areas
