Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and a CO or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a 19-room Women's and Infants Labor and Delivery unit
- Patient ratio of 1:2
- Rotating day and night shifts (3x12 hours), 7:00-19:00 and 19:00-7:00
- Weekend shifts required per unit needs
- On-call responsibilities required per unit needs
- Float required within the Women and Infant unit and possibly within the metro region per facility needs
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active RN license (CO state or compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
Additional Information
- Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care including antepartum, delivery, and postpartum support
- Navy scrub color required
- Facility performs a range of high-risk and standard deliveries
- First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
- Candidates previously employed by UCHealth or its affiliates in any capacity are not eligible
- Returning travelers who completed a full year on assignment must wait at least one year before rebooking
- Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract, with blackout periods during high-demand times
- Blocked scheduling requests are not permitted
- Completion of facility-specific training modules required within the first week of assignment
- Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility may be eligible for a different bill rate
