Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 3 years of L&D experience and AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring certification.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes females of childbearing age, from 17 weeks gestation through delivery
• Handles admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, and both vaginal and C-section deliveries
• Performs scheduled procedures including C-sections, external cephalic versions, and occasional cerclage
• Manages triage issues on the unit
• Uses Fetal Monitors for patient monitoring
• Charts using Cerner and Fetalink documentation systems
• Night shift schedule with 3x 12-hour shifts per week

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required, no pending licenses accepted
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• BSN highly desired
• Minimum 3 years of L&D experience required
• Minimum 2 years of prior work experience in a US hospital in the specialty area required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring
• AHA-issued certifications only
• Two manager or supervisor references required, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility, no local candidates accepted
