Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an adult outpatient imaging center, requiring 1+ years of experience and ARRT CT certification.

Details

• Adult outpatient imaging center setting
• CT Tech unit
• Patient ratio of 1:16
• Day shift, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Must be willing to float within the hospital and within scope of practice
• Performs abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies including enterography, carotid, sinus, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and cardiac/vascular imaging
• Utilizes 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurement techniques
• Works with GE and Siemens equipment

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• ARRT CT and ARRT R certification required
• BLS certification required
• Maryland or Compact license required if applicable, must be active and in hand at time of consideration
• Two supervisor references required
• Skilled in preparation and/or administration of contrast media, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
• Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, and radiation safety
