Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a community hospital setting requiring ARRT-CT, ARRT-R certification and 1+ years of experience.

Details

• Community hospital setting within the CT Tech unit
• Work in Adult Acute Care, Emergency Department, ICU, and Pediatric Acute Care settings
• Performs abdomen and pelvis CT scans without and/or with contrast
• Uses GE and Siemens equipment along with PACS system
• McKesson charting system required
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital and within their scope of practice

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• ARRT-CT and ARRT-R certifications required
• BLS certification required
• Maryland or Compact license required and must be active and in hand at submission; license required if applicable
• Community hospital experience required
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
• Radiation safety knowledge required
• Peripheral IV starting skills required
• Two supervisor references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging procedures including abdomen and pelvis scans
• Lead CT Tech role
• Tobacco-free facility; candidates must be nicotine-free, with a positive nicotine screen resulting in cancellation
• Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year
• No mile radius rule for eligibility
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Modules average 4-6 hours and are completed during orientation and annually through WorkDay
