Description
American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Department RN for a night shift assignment requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and a ME or compact RN license.
Details
- Emergency Department setting with a full spectrum of emergency care services
- Includes a separate Chest Pain Center
- Night shift schedule, 7a-7p
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active ME or compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 3 years of overall nursing experience required
- At least 2 years of experience in the ED setting required
- At least 1 year of critical care nursing experience required
- Must be willing and able to work charge nurse and preceptor roles if needed
Additional Information
- Responsible for direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process across all areas of the unit
- Duties include assessing patients on admission and throughout their stay, administering IV medications/therapy/blood, providing patient education, and documenting nursing care
- Must not be a previous employee of the facility
- Local candidates will be considered at a lower local rate
- Candidates with hits or actions on license or background will not be accepted
