Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level I Trauma Center requiring 2+ years of CT experience and Siemens equipment proficiency.

Details

• Adult acute care and outpatient CT setting within a Level I Trauma Center
• Night shift, 4x10 hours from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Alternating schedule between Week 1 (Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat) and Week 2 (Sun, Wed, Thurs, Fri)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to sister facilities required
• Uses Siemens CT equipment and Epic charting system
• Performs CT scans of abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, and spine/musculoskeletal, with and without contrast

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience required (1.5 years considered for Level I Trauma or travel experience)
• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification preferred
• CT license required if applicable
• Epic charting experience required
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Skilled in isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, and starting peripheral IVs
• Experience with musculoskeletal trauma imaging preferred
• 1 professional reference required

Additional Information

• Facility is a short-term acute care, Level I Trauma Center with over 1,500 staffed beds
• Teal scrub color required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates not accepted; radius rule applies within 75 miles of the facility
• Returning staff must have separated from the facility for at least 2 years to be considered as a traveler
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccine required with religious/medical exemptions only
• RTO of up to 7 days may be auto-approved
