Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ years of experience and prior travel assignment experience required.
Details
- CT Tech unit in a hospital setting
- Evening shift, 4x10 hours, Monday-Thursday, 12:00 PM-12:30 AM
- Call required
- Weekly orientation every Monday
- Meditech charting system used
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
- Prior travel experience required
- ARRT CT and BLS required; ARRT R preferred
- License required if applicable
- Meditech charting experience highly preferred
- Skilled in image display and post-processing, including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
- Experience with abdomen and pelvis CT studies, including contrast and colorectal/enterography studies
- Experience with head and neck CT studies including carotid, sinuses, soft tissue neck, and trauma head
- Experience with spine and musculoskeletal CT studies including cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and MSK trauma
- Experience with chest CT studies including cardiac and vascular chest imaging
- Experience with coronary CTA preferred
- Proficient with GE CT equipment and PACS
- Skilled in isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, and peripheral IV starts
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging across abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest studies for adult outpatient, ED, and ICU patients
- Holiday coverage required
- RTO must be minimal and submitted in advance
- Travel pairs accepted
- Former permanent employees must wait 12 months before returning as travelers
