Description

American Traveler is seeking a Level III NICU RN with 2+ years of recent NICU experience and NRP certification for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

• Level III Neonatal ICU with 51 beds
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on acuity
• Day and night shift teams include RNs, charge RN, respiratory therapists, and techs
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Shift hours are 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required to Peds, PICU, and Mother Baby (babies only)

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
• NRP certification required
• STABLE and NIC-RNC certifications preferred
• 2+ years of Level III or higher NICU experience preferred
• 1 year of recent NICU experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for FL and MO candidates)

Additional Information

• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill and premature neonates
• Work within a large, well-staffed NICU team supported by respiratory therapists and techs
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates must be detail oriented and organized
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• First-time travelers may be considered
