Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN with a minimum of 3 years of circulating experience for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring an active NE or compact license.

Details

• Acute care Operating Room unit with 2 OR rooms
• 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week guaranteed
• On-call required: minimum one weekday call shift per week and one weekend every 3rd or 4th weekend
• No floating required
• Uses Cerner EMR and Onmicell equipment
• Cases include colonoscopy, EGD, BMT, T&A, arthroplasty (knee, hip, shoulder), arthroscopy (knee, shoulder), oral/dentistry, ophthalmic (cataracts), and OB

Requirements

• Active NE or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA)
• PALS certification required, may be obtained shortly after start
• NRP certification highly preferred but not required
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an OR nurse required
• Pre & Post Op and Circulating experience required
• C-Section experience required
• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
• BSN not required for this position

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include OR circulating, admitting and discharging patients, and post-op recovery care
• On-the-job orientation training provided
• Scrubs required as dress code
• COVID vaccine required for all staff, with medical and religious exemptions accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
