Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab experience for a 13-week assignment requiring RT or RCIS licensure.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit providing diagnostic imaging and interventional cardiac procedures
- Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM day shift schedule
- Shared on-call coverage required for 24/7 cath lab, including 10-11 call shifts per month with rotating weekends
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- MIRT license required along with RT or RCIS certification
- License required if applicable
- ACLS and CPR-AHA certification required
- Minimum 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must operate diagnostic imaging equipment during procedures
- Must perform scrub tech functions to assist cardiologists and vascular surgeons
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and procedural documentation required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include operating diagnostic imaging equipment, scrubbing in to assist physicians, hemodynamic monitoring, and documenting procedures
- Candidates must complete required testing modules where applicable
- COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
- Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
- Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis for this hard-to-fill specialty
- First-time travelers are not addressed for this role
