Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Emergency Department position requiring pediatric ED triage and trauma experience along with TNCC, PALS, and CPI or MOAB certifications.
Details
- Work in a 35-bed Pediatric Emergency Department, including 21 ER beds plus a 3rd floor area for fast tracks and surgical suite
- Pediatric patient population presenting with general ED, mental health, and trauma cases
- Nurse to patient ratio of 1:3 for standard acuity and 1:6 for lower acuity
- Tech to patient ratio of 1:8
- 24/7 support staff available
- Uses Epic EMR
- 12-hour rotating shifts, 36 hours per week
Requirements
- Active WA or compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI or MOAB
- Minimum 1.5 years of Pediatric ED experience required
- At least 6 months of triage experience required
- At least 6 months of trauma experience required
- General pediatric ED care experience required
