Description
American Traveler is hiring a night shift CT Technologist with at least 36 months of CT experience and Level II trauma experience for a 13-week assignment in Des Moines, IA.
Details
- CT Scan unit within a hospital/medical center setting
- Patient population includes all age groups, shift dependent
- Night shift, Monday–Thursday, 9:30 PM–7:00 AM, 40 hours/week
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- May float across campuses including Iowa Lutheran, Methodist West, and Iowa Methodist Medical Center
- Uses Siemens and GE CT equipment
- Utilizes power injection contrast injectors
- Charts in EPIC
Requirements
- Minimum 36 months of CT experience required, with hospital/medical center experience prioritized
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- BLS certification required (AHA or ARC)
- Active IA radiology license required if applicable
- Proficient with Siemens CT equipment required; GE CT experience preferred
- EPIC experience required
- Experience with contrast administration required
- Experience with power injection contrast injectors preferred
- Level II trauma experience required; recent Level I trauma experience highly preferred
- Recent stroke imaging experience required
- Experience working with all age groups, shift dependent
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- Professional reference from a supervisor, charge, manager, director, or executive within the past 24 months preferred
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging procedures across multiple patient age groups and acuity levels
- May be required to work 1-2 of 3 winter holidays unless the unit is closed
- Charcoal gray scrubs required
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- First-time travelers may be considered
- Past UPH employees, whether FTE or PRN, are subject to specific rehire restrictions across markets
