Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care Unit position requiring a CO or compact RN license and NIHSS certification for night shift work.
Details
- Work in the Intermediate Care Unit of a hospital setting
- 3x12hr night shifts, 1900-0730
- Rotating weekends required
- On-call requirements to be discussed during interview
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active RN license (CO state or compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS required, must not expire prior to start
- TNCC certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty required
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Epic charting experience required
- DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care including health teaching and counseling
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans, referring patients as needed
- Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
