Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a General Surgery position requiring an active NV RN license and weekend availability.
Details
- Work in the General Surgical Unit performing general surgery care
- Weekend schedule with three 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 0645-1915
- 13-week assignment length
- Uses EPIC for charting
Requirements
- Active NV RN license required, or eligibility to apply immediately upon offer if never licensed in NV
- AHA-issued BLS and applicable certifications required; CPI required for Behavioral/Psych roles
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty required
- Minimum of one recent 13-week travel assignment within the past year required
- EPIC EMR experience preferred, with training available during orientation or test-out option
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care within the General Surgical Unit
- Minimum of 2 major holidays coverage required
- No blocked scheduling permitted
- RTO must be submitted with the initial application and will not be added at the end of the contract
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
- Previous travelers must complete a 13-week break before returning to a new assignment
