Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist to perform CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy procedures, requiring ARRT registration and RT licensure in the state of practice.

Details

• CT Scan unit within a hospital setting
• Variable shift schedule with start times including 6:30 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, 3:00 PM, 10:00 PM, and 11:00 PM
• Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images

Requirements

• ARRT registration as R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) required
• RT license required in state of practice, if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Fluoroscopy license required in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification required if administering contrast materials
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• Advanced certification in CT modality preferred in CA

Additional Information

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatric populations
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
• Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
• Ensure image and data integrity while adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality regulations
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
