Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience in acute care and adult outpatient settings, requiring ARRT-CT certification and Epic experience.

Details

• CT Tech unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Uses Siemens Somatom Definition Edge 128 and GE Optima CT660 128 scanners
• Epic and Sectra PACS charting systems
• Bracco Empower contrast injectors
• 3x12 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Friday through Sunday
• No call requirement
• Floating may be required to other CT departments on campus

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience required
• ARRT-CT and BLS certification required (license required if applicable)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience in adult acute care and adult outpatient settings required
• Skilled in abdomen and pelvis imaging, with or without contrast
• Experience with enterography and pelvis studies preferred
• Experience with head, neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest imaging preferred
• Experience with coronary CTA and vascular chest imaging preferred
• Proficiency with GE and Siemens equipment and PACS preferred
• Skilled in contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture preferred

Additional Information

• Black scrubs required
• Must be clean-shaven to ensure proper mask seal for respirator fit testing; CAPRs/PAPRs are not provided and personal units are not permitted with no exceptions
• Failure to comply with shaving requirement for fit testing will result in cancellation
• OSHA Respirator Clearance must be completed prior to start
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Local candidates within 70 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Clinicians cannot work more than 1 year as a traveler and must take a 6-month break before returning
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
