Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring BLS, NRP, and 2+ years of experience.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting
- Full-time schedule of 36 hours per week on 7:00pm-7:00am shifts
- Rotating holidays required
- Every third weekend required
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or compact) currently in hand
- BLS certification required (must be AHA)
- NRP certification required (must be AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics)
- ACLS certification preferred (must be AHA)
- Ascension Fetal Monitoring competency required, or AWHONN/Relias equivalent within the past 2 years
- NRP Advanced certification a plus
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
- Implement and monitor patient care plans while recording and communicating patient condition
- Serve as primary coordinator across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
- Carry out physician and nursing orders
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team
- Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from the facility
- First-time travelers may be considered for this position
