Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an ICU/PCU night shift position requiring a WI or compact license and ICU/PCU experience.

Details

• Resource Pool/Float role within the ICU and PCU units
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of previous ICU/PCU experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• At least 1 completed travel contract preferred
• Not eligible if employed by the facility within the last 12 months
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Supervisory reference required at time of consideration
• Skills checklist completed within the past year required

Additional Information

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Provide and manage care for ICU and PCU patients
• Holiday coverage required, including 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving)
• Limited time-off requests permitted during peak holiday periods
• First-time travelers may be considered if they meet experience requirements
• Local candidates accepted with a 10% rate reduction
• Candidates outside a 50-mile radius from the facility preferred for standard travel rate
