Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric OR RN Perioperative Circulator requiring Level I trauma pediatric OR experience and a compact or Oklahoma RN license.

Details

• Pediatric Operating Room unit within a hospital setting
• Rotating day shifts with 3x12-hour schedule totaling 36 hours per week
• On-call responsibilities for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Overtime availability as needed
• Level I trauma experience in pediatrics required

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Minimum of one year of experience in an acute operating room setting
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required, BSN preferred
• Strong knowledge of AORN standards and perioperative nursing practices
• CNOR certification preferred
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures
• Provide direct and indirect professional nursing care in the operating room
• Document and evaluate all aspects of perioperative patient care using the nursing process
• Individualize care based on patient health status, age, and procedure type
• Facility strictly enforces compliance deadlines, requiring onboarding steps to begin immediately upon offer
• Travelers must be booked at least 4 weeks prior to start date to meet compliance requirements
• Returning travelers may extend a contract only once up to 26 weeks total, then must have a 6-month separation before reapplying
