Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN for a Bariatric Unit position requiring a WA or compact RN license and Epic experience.

Details

• General Surgery Bariatric Unit setting within a hospital
• 3x12 Night shift schedule (7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
• 13-week assignment length
• Floating may be required within the hospital based on patient care needs
• Required orientation modules completed and signed off by facility managers

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Epic charting experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to general surgery and bariatric patients on a Med/Surg Tele unit
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, and all RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
• No blocked or custom schedule requests considered
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as non-local travelers
• Travel pairs accepted
• Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before being considered for rehire as a traveler
