Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 3+ years of ER experience and multiple critical care certifications.
Details
- Fast-paced Emergency Department treating all patient types including urgent care, psych, pediatric, and critical care/trauma cases
- Bedside trauma RN role in the trauma room with 1:5 patient ratios
- Manages critical care skills including medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes
- Cerner EMR experience required
- 3x12 mid shifts
- 9-week contract assignment
Requirements
- Active DC RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required (AHA certifications only)
- Minimum 3 years of ER experience required
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
- BSN highly desired
- Two manager or supervisor references verifying experience within the last 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
- Must be available to start within 7 days of offer
Additional Information
- Coordinates and delivers care to patients with complex nursing needs to ensure safety, quality, and a positive patient experience
- Candidates must live within 50 miles of the facility
- Rapid start position with expedited onboarding available for qualified candidates who can provide required compliance documents
