Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring 2 years of L&D experience and current Cerner proficiency.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit caring for females of childbearing years including patients pregnant from 17 weeks gestation through delivery
- Patient activity includes admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, triage, and deliveries (vaginal and C-section)
- Scheduled procedures include C-sections and external cephalic versions
- Common equipment includes fetal monitors with Cerner and Fetalink documentation
- Day shift schedule with 3x12hr shifts
- 9-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active DC RN license required, no pending licenses accepted
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA only)
- NRP certification required
- AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification required
- Minimum 2 years of L&D experience in a US hospital setting required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- National background screen including OIG, EPLS, and NSO within 90 days required for consideration
- Flu and COVID vaccination or declination form required for consideration
- Current license verification through Nursys and Board of Nursing required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care across the labor and delivery continuum including triage, admissions, labor support, and post-delivery care
- This is a rapid start position requiring availability to begin within 7 days of offer
- Must reside within 50 miles of the facility
