Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU position requiring 2 years of current Surgical ICU experience and a compact or MD RN license.
Details
- Work in the 20-bed adult Weinberg Surgical ICU within the Department of Surgery
- Diverse post-surgical ICU patient population including Trauma, GI Surgery, Ortho/Neuro Spine, Transplant, Vascular, Surgical ENT, and General Surgery cases
- Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Float as needed to areas of like skill set
Requirements
- Active RN license (Compact or Maryland)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of current, strong Surgical ICU experience required
- Critical Care Certification, trauma course completion, ACLS, and EPIC experience preferred
- Experience in a facility with 500+ bed count preferred
- Two previous travel assignments preferred
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing to ICU and post-surgical ICU patients across a variety of surgical specialties
- Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month
- Strong candidates are preferred given the high acuity and complexity of this academic medical center setting
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
