Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Surgical ICU position requiring 2 years of current Surgical ICU experience and an MD or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a 20-bed adult Surgical ICU within the Department of Surgery
- Diverse patient population including trauma, GI surgery, Ortho/Neuro Spine, transplant, vascular, Surgical ENT, and General Surgery patients
- Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Float as needed to areas of like skill set
Requirements
- Active RN license (MD or Compact) required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of current, strong Surgical ICU experience required
- Experience in a facility with 500+ bed count required
- Critical Care Certification, trauma course completion, ACLS, and EPIC experience preferred
- 2 previous travel assignments preferred
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing to ICU and post-surgical ICU patients
- Orientation occurs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
