Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 2 years of OR experience and prior travel experience.
Details
- Operating Room department setting
- Rotating 4x10-hour shifts, 08:30-19:00, flexible based on OR volumes
- Call requirements based on department needs, rotating weekdays and weekends
- Holiday call hours rotating with regular staff
- May be required to float onsite within skill set or to facilities within 40 miles, though rarely needed
- Contract lengths of 13-26 weeks accepted
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Robotic surgery experience preferred
- Scrub nurse experience preferred
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide direct surgical nursing care within the Operating Room
- Radius rule applies; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
- Candidates must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- COVID vaccination not required
