Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 26-week assignment requiring NYS licensure and ARRT (CT) certification plus contrast injection experience.

Details

• Community hospital setting within the CT Scan department
• 3x12-hour day shifts
• Every 3rd weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• No block scheduling considered for this assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year CT/PET experience required
• NYS license required if applicable, and ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Contrast injection experience required
• GE scanner experience preferred
• Must have own vehicle
• Ability to obtain intravenous access

Additional Information

• Perform a variety of CT procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed techniques for diagnosis
• Capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills required
• Basic computer skills required
• Prioritize and organize daily workflow effectively
• Personal scrubs of any color permitted, no designs, cartoons, or hoodies
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
• No more than 5 days of RTO accepted, and must be requested prior to upload
• Facility can cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract with 2-hour notice
• Previous or current travel experience strongly encouraged
• COVID vaccination strongly encouraged but not required
