Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring trauma experience and multiple emergency certifications.
Details
- 41-bed Emergency Department seeing 135+ patients daily
- Patient ratio of 4:1
- Patient population includes stroke, ACS, diabetic, and AKD cases
- Facility is in active pursuit of Level 3 trauma designation and includes a Primary Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center with 24/7 Cath Lab, and Level 3 NICU
- Night shift schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7P-7A
- Weekend requirement of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
- Holidays assigned as needed
Requirements
- Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS or ENPC
- CPI certification required upon contract extension
- Trauma experience highly preferred

- Provide emergency nursing care across a high-volume, high-acuity patient population
