Description

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a busy Level I trauma pediatric hospital, requiring current RRT credentials and 2+ years of recent pediatric experience.

Details

• Busy pediatric hospital setting with Level I trauma designation
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Must be willing to float to sister facilities including Hughes Spaulding, Egleston, and AMBH, as well as ED and ICU units
• Utilizes EPIC charting system
• Utilizes ventilator equipment including V-60, Servo-i, Drager, Hamilton T-1, Vapotherm, and Optiflow

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; CRT not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent RRT experience required
• Pediatric experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association) certifications required
• GA Respiratory Care Professional license required if applicable
• Copy of diploma or associate's degree program documentation with RRT credentials required
• Proficiency in FM-Intermediate/Advanced skills, ventilator management, and triage required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Recent travel experience preferred

• Provide respiratory care services within a high-acuity pediatric hospital environment
• Holiday coverage required
• Minimal to no RTO availability during the assignment
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Facility is a nicotine-free campus and conducts nicotine testing
