Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a critical access hospital's Diagnostic Radiology department, requiring proficiency in both X-ray and CT modalities.
Details
- Diagnostic Radiology unit within a critical access hospital setting
- Day shift schedule Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- Uses Siemens CT scanner and Epic EMR
- Must perform both X-ray and CT on a regular basis
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required
- Current BLS certification required
- RT license in state of practice required (license required if applicable)
- ARRT certification required (ARRT-R)
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of technical experience preferred
- Certification in additional advanced modalities (CT, Mammography, MRI, or Sonography) preferred
- Must be able to safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs
Additional Information
- Perform radiographic and computed tomography exams consistent with experience level
- Perform mobile imaging examinations including radiographic and fluoroscopic studies as needed
- Safely prepare contrast agents for medical imaging procedures
- Test defibrillator and check integrity of crash cart
- Located in Northern California near Clear Lake, offering outdoor recreation and proximity to the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento Valley, and Pacific Coast
- Accepts local candidates
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
- Candidates with a prior hit on license will not be considered
