Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position requiring a CA RN license and ACLS/BLS certification.

Details

• Work in the Medical ICU unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12s from 1800 to 0630
• No on-call requirements
• Requires EPIC experience

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by the State of California
• BLS certification per American Heart Association guidelines required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required within six months of hire
• Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience required
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• CCRN certification encouraged
• No prior adverse actions on license accepted for consideration

Additional Information

• Plan, coordinate, and implement patient care specific to the age of the ICU patient population
• Maintain quality, efficient, and safe standards of care consistent with unit protocols
• Demonstrate flexibility with changing systems and professional conduct with staff, physicians, and patients
• Adhere to all HIPAA and confidentiality regulations
• Comply with facility vaccination requirements as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
