Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab/EP RN for a day shift position in a Magnet-designated acute care hospital, requiring at least 2 years of lab experience and sedation skills.

Details

• Cath Lab unit within a 426-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule (4x10 hours, 6:30 AM-5:00 PM), Monday through Friday
• On-call requirement of approximately 7 days per month, including one weekend (Fri-Sun PM) and one weekday per week
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Open to candidates with Cath Lab or IR RN background

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and CCI RCES or CCI RCIS
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a cath lab or interventional radiology setting within a 2+ room lab, 250-bed facility
• Sedation skills required
• Epic EMR experience required for IR RNs; highly preferred for Cath Lab RNs
• First-time travelers accepted only if they have at least 2 years of lab experience

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Royal blue scrub color required for RNs
• Free on-site parking available
• Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities within the health system
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront at time of consideration; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
• Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a lower rate
• Former permanent employees may return after a 3-month waiting period and must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
