Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift acute care Radiology CT/X-Ray position requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT (CT) and (R) certification.
Details
- Acute care setting within the Radiology CT/X-Ray department
- Will float between CT and X-Ray as needed
- CT volume of approximately 110-130 patients per day
- Equipment includes Siemens Edge 128 and Siemens Definition 128 CT scanners, plus Carestream X-ray and portable units
- Cerner EMR used for charting
- Varied 10-hour night shifts with start times between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM
- No call requirements
- Teal scrub color required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- BLS certification required
- ARRT certification in CT and Radiography (R) required
- Fluoroscopy permit required
- CA Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
- Two professional references required: one supervisor reference within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor reference within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Training provided for candidates without direct CT/X-Ray floating experience
- Candidates who were directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and Dignity, within the past year will not be considered
- Candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
