Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification to provide diagnostic imaging services across multiple patient populations.

Details

• Rotates through Adult and Pediatric Acute Care, Outpatient, and Emergency Department settings
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Friday-Monday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Performs CT imaging of abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest regions
• Conducts specialized procedures including coronary CTA, CT arthrography, and vascular CTA
• Uses Philips and Toshiba CT equipment
• Utilizes Epic charting system

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• State license required if applicable
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• Travel experience strongly preferred unless candidate has very strong work history
• Proficient in contrast media preparation and administration
• Venipuncture skills preferred
• Experience with isolation precautions and PPE
• Knowledge of image display and post-processing, including region of interest measurement

Additional Information

• Performs imaging studies with and without contrast across multiple anatomical regions including abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, and chest
• Handles trauma cases including trauma head and musculoskeletal trauma imaging
• Supports vascular imaging including carotid studies and pulmonary embolism/CTA studies
• Completes colorectal studies requiring rectal contrast preparation
• Facility conducts its own mandatory drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing
• Local candidates within 110 miles are not accepted for this position
• First-time travelers may be considered with a very strong work history
