Description
American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric IV Therapy Vascular Access RN with ultrasound-guided IV placement experience and MA RN licensure required.
Details
- Work on the IV Therapy Vascular Access Team in an acute care pediatric hospital setting
- Pediatric to adult patient population including HemeOnc and ICU vascular access needs
- Day/Evening/Night rotation with 12-hour shifts starting at 7am, 11am, or 7pm
- Weekend work required
- Uses EPIC charting system
- Scrub color is any solid color for all units, except OR (provided) and SPT (any color, not provided)
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric vascular access team experience required
- Ultrasound-guided IV placement and vein finder experience required
- Skilled in insertion and management of vascular access devices including PICC lines and implanted ports
- Experience with site and vessel selection, patency assessment, and vascular access troubleshooting
- Experience caring for neonatal and pediatric patients required
Additional Information
- Perform vascular access insertions, assessments, and troubleshooting for pediatric and adult patients
- Work within a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma, Level III/IV NICU teaching hospital
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a reduced rate
