Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with multimodality experience in CT, X-ray, and OR to join an evening shift at an acute care hospital.
Details
- Works in the CT Scan department of an acute care hospital
- Evening shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with primary start time around 1:30 PM though hours may vary based on departmental staffing
- Requires Epic EMR experience
- CT experience required, with additional proficiency in X-ray and/or OR preferred
- Candidates proficient in at least two of the three modalities (CT, X-ray, OR) will be considered
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
- ARRT registration as R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R) required
- California Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required
- Advanced CT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Fluoroscopy license required if operating fluoroscopy equipment
- Venipuncture certification required if administering contrast materials
- License required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT required
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric age
- Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
- Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to appropriate locations
- Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information in compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines
- Performs routine maintenance, calibration of equipment, and manages supply inventory
- Local candidates accepted with no radius rule; local rates are the same as travel rates
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
- Candidates with a prior adverse licensure history will not be considered
