Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital, requiring 1-3 years of OT experience and a Master's degree in OT.
Details
- Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 40 beds
- Day shift, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Weekend coverage required once a month
- General adult patient population including stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury, and debility cases
- EPIC and Rehab Connect EHR systems used
Requirements
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience as an OT
- AHA certifications required
- License required if applicable
- Acute care, skilled nursing, or inpatient rehab hospital experience preferred
- Basic computer knowledge and strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
Additional Information
- Provide individualized rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Work within a comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation program
- Must be a cooperative team player
- Black scrubs required
- Report time between 7:30 and 8:00 AM
- Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
