Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with general, OB, and vascular ultrasound experience for a general radiology/cardiology position.
Details
- General, OB, and Vascular ultrasound unit
- Day shift, 4x10 hours, Tuesday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- No call required
- Holiday coverage required if shift falls on a holiday
- May float to South campus
- Patient population includes adult, ICU, NICU, obstetrics, and pediatrics
- Procedures include OB/GYN (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester), vascular studies (aorta, arterial mapping, carotid, Doppler, duplex, stents), and general ultrasound (appendix, gallbladder, pancreas)
- Uses GE ultrasound equipment and PACS system
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience required, with General and Vascular ultrasound experience required and OB experience preferred
- Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program or ultrasound technologist program required
- ARDMS certification required; ARDMS AB and ARDMS RVT preferred
- License required if applicable
- Travel experience strongly preferred
Additional Information
- Perform general, OB, and vascular ultrasound studies across adult, ICU, NICU, obstetric, and pediatric populations
- Facility conducts its own onsite drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with any positive result resulting in automatic cancellation
- Candidates should avoid substances that could affect drug screen results, including CBD products, prior to and after arrival onsite
- Local candidates within 110 miles are not accepted
- Preferred assignment length is 26 weeks, with a minimum of 13 weeks considered
