Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse - Case Manager for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring a CA RN license and Epic experience.

Details

Case Management unit within a hospital setting
Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
13-week assignment length
ASAP start available

Requirements

Active CA RN license required in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)
Current BLS certification required
Minimum of 1 year acute care experience required
At least 1 year full-time equivalent experience in case management within the past 2 years
Epic EMR experience required and must be reflected in work history
Two supervisor references required for consideration

Additional Information

Responsibilities may include patient teaching, scheduling, telephone triage, and specimen collection within an oncology-focused setting
No RTO permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment
Maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract is highly preferred, and all RTO must be submitted upfront and cannot be changed after submission
Local candidates accepted at the same rate
Previous employees must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
Manager interviews may or may not be conducted as part of the hiring process
