Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Rehab and Med/Surg Float position requiring a NH or compact RN license and 3+ years of experience.

Details

  • Primary placement on the Rehab unit with floating to Med/Surg as needed
  • Varied shifts including 3p-11p and 7p-7a
  • Defined workweek runs Sunday 12:01am through Saturday 11:59pm

Requirements

  • Active NH or compact RN license required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
  • Graduate of an approved Nursing program preferred
  • Basic Dysrhythmia course required prior to completion of orientation
  • CPI training preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation

Additional Information

  • Provides professional nursing care including comprehensive clinical documentation and care plans each shift
  • Communicates patient information through bedside shift report, multidisciplinary rounds, and hourly rounding
  • Participates in daily unit-based safety huddles and quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborates with other departments and may serve as preceptor for new nurses
  • Maintains current licensure and certifications required for the department
