Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring ARRT(CT) certification and 3+ years of CT experience.
Details
- 13-week travel assignment on night shift, 7p-7a
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Performs interventional cases, CT Angiography, and advanced 3D reconstruction
- Administers IV, oral, and rectal contrast
- Coordinates daily workload including inpatients, ED patients, and outpatient scheduling
- Uses Epic EMR and PACS (McKesson Change Healthcare preferred)
- CT Scan equipment from GE and Siemens preferred
- Minimal holiday and back-up call requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of CT Scan experience required
- Current ARRT(CT) certification required
- BLS certification required
- NH Imaging License required if applicable
- Proficiency in patient prep, positioning, and scan acquisition per protocol
- Ability to identify anatomy, pathology, and contrast enhancement on cross-sectional imaging
- Knowledge of CT equipment QA, warm-up, and basic troubleshooting
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 35 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
Additional Information
- Works under direction of Radiologist and CT Supervisor in a fast-paced environment
- Assists radiologist during interventional procedures
- Reviews IV Contrast Questionnaire with patients prior to contrast administration
- Responsible for maintaining clean, organized, and well-stocked work area
- Flexible to support 24/7 department coverage including on-call, holidays, and weekends
- Follows HIPAA compliance and department dress code policy
- Completes mandatory learning, competencies, and CEUs as required
