Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring EFM certification and night shift availability.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, every other weekend
- 36 hours per week across 3 shifts, 12 hours per day
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM (AWHONN accepted if not in place over 1 year)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Additional Information
- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care following the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care
- Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff members
- Mentor and precept staff while promoting teamwork and collaboration
- Participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives
- Provide patient and family education specific to care, treatment, and discharge needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient and family-centered care
