Description
American Traveler is hiring a night shift MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and at least one completed travel assignment for a role requiring Siemens MRI scanner proficiency.
Details
- Night shift position, 3x12 hours, Sunday through Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 4:30 AM
- Floating required between two facility locations overnight
- Uses Siemens MRI scanner equipment
- Preferred experience with Cerner charting system
- Performs MRI procedures including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine, chest, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular imaging
- Preferred experience in adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, and ER/trauma settings
Requirements
- BLS certification required
- ARMRIT, ARRT MR, and ARRT R certifications preferred
- License required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Tech experience within the last 7 years
- Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
- Preferred experience in community hospital settings
- Skilled in preparation and/or administration of contrast media
- Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
- Preferred ability to start peripheral IVs
- Preferred experience with special imaging procedures including MIP and MPR reconstruction
Additional Information
- Perform a wide range of MRI procedures across abdominal, pelvic, head/neck, spine, chest, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular imaging
- Work collaboratively with radiology and cardiology teams across multiple facility locations
- Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted per 13-week contract, with no RTO allowed during the first two weeks of assignment
- Accepts candidates within 60 miles at a local rate
