Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring high-risk L&D expertise and prior travel experience.
Details
- Work in the OB/GYN unit featuring 12 postpartum rooms, 4 swing/antepartum rooms, 5 labor rooms, 4 triage rooms, and 2 operating rooms
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
- Every third weekend required
- Patient ratios: 1:3 on Labor and Delivery, 1:3 antepartum, and 1:6 mother/baby couplet
- Uses Epic EMR and Pyxis medication system
- May float within 30 miles of the assigned facility
Requirements
- Active RN license (CT or Compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-risk Labor & Delivery
- Prior OB experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care across labor, delivery, antepartum, and postpartum units
- Unit provides scrubs
- May be included in mandatory overtime rotation as needed to ensure unit coverage
- Local candidates accepted
- Eligible for local rate within 75 miles and radius rate applies
