Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Level I trauma background for a 13-week night shift assignment.
Details
- CT imaging department supporting pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Supports Emergency Department and Level I trauma populations
- Night shift, 3x12 hours, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00 PM to 8:30 AM
- Every weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- No floating required
- Uses Philips CT scanner
- Charting system is Centricity RIS-IC
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience required
- Emergency Department and Level I trauma experience required
- ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and BLS certifications required
- License required if applicable
- Experience with abdominal, pelvic, chest, head and neck CT imaging with and without contrast required
- Vascular chest CTA, brain perfusion, and vascular CTA experience required
- Cervical, lumbar, and thoracic spine imaging experience required
- Musculoskeletal trauma imaging experience required
- Contrast media preparation and administration experience required
- Radiation safety experience required
- Peripheral IV starting experience required
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, and spine studies with and without contrast
- Conduct special procedures including brain perfusion and vascular CTA studies
- Scrub color is charcoal grey
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Local candidates accepted within 50-mile radius at a local rate differential
- RTO must be submitted at time of application and cannot be accommodated after submission
- Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
