Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and at least one completed travel assignment for a 13-week day shift contract.
Details
- Hospital-based CT Tech position in adult acute care and outpatient settings
- 3x12 hour day shifts, Wednesday-Friday 10:30 AM-11:00 PM
- Performs CT scans of abdomen, chest, and head with and/or without contrast
- Prepares and administers contrast media and starts peripheral IVs
- Handles musculoskeletal trauma imaging
- Uses GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba equipment along with PACS
Requirements
- ARRT(R) and BLS certification required
- MD State license required in hand (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years
- Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment
- Cerner charting experience preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Experience with adult acute care and adult outpatient patient populations
Additional Information
- Weekly orientation begins 11/2 or 11/9
- Flu vaccine required for all employees
- Local candidates within 60 miles considered at a lower rate
- RTO not permitted during the first two weeks of assignment, with a maximum of 7 days allowed per 13-week contract
- Previous MedStar employees must have been separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler
